Events of the 200th Anniversary of Peggy's Cove

The "200th" plans to date include:

   
  - Sept.5: Tuesday Night Big Band Performance in Peggy's Cove Monday, September 5th at 1:00pm (rain date Sunday, September 11th)

   - Sept.19: “Celebrate Our Geology!” a guided interpretive walk, 1:30-3:30 p.m., led by Garth Demont, Geologist, NS Department of Natural Resources.

        - Sept. 24: Outdoor Musical Event with Symphony Nova Scotia and evening fireworks. Festivities start at 7:00 pm. Click here for more information and to RSVP for this Free Event.

    - Oct. 17: “Celebrate Our Geology!” a guided interpretive walk, 1:30-3:30 p.m., led by Garth Demont, Geologist, NS Department of Natural Resources.

Ongoing throughout the summer:
Story telling - meet author/artist Ivan Fraser and enjoy his fascinating stories, art and photos - connecting Peggy of Peggy's Cove from legend to reality at his historic childhood home museum. Open Sunday to Friday 10235 Peggy's Cove Rd., Glen Margaret.
